Keeping SEBB members’ health and safety a top priority during the COVID-19 pandemic, and following the state guidelines for large gatherings, SEBB will not offer in-person benefits fairs this year. Instead, find out more about all of UMP’s plans online with the SEBB’s virtual benefits fair.

A virtual benefits fair is a way to learn about your benefit options through an online, interactive, and personalized experience. It will be available anytime, day or night, starting September 24.

Use your computer, tablet, or smartphone to visit UMP’s virtual benefits booth. Once there, you can view UMP’s short videos to get an overview of all UMP plans or select a specific plan to see more detailed information.

Changes to existing benefits for 2022

  • For UMP Achieve 1, UMP Achieve 2, UMP Plus–PSHVN, and UMP Plus–UW Medicine ACN members, for 2022 plans, there are no changes to the:
    • 2021 medical deductible;
    • 2021 prescription drug deductible;
    • 2021 out-of-pocket maximum; and
    • 2021 SmartHealth wellness incentive ($125 deductible credit to those who qualify).

  • All plans will have a limit of 24 visits for chiropractic (spinal manipulation), 24 visits for acupuncture, and 24 visits for massage per calendar year. This is an increase to the previous benefit limit of 16 visits for chiropractic, 16 visits for acupuncture, and 16 visits for massage. If you see a preferred provider (network provider for UMP Plus) you will pay a $15 copay per visit for each treatment type. For High Deductible you must meet your deductible first. For more information see your plan’s 2022 certificate of coverage.

  • UMP members are no longer eligible to dual enroll in PEBB and SEBB health plans. All dual covered members must select only one coverage plan. For enrollment and eligibility information visit the HCA website at hca.wa.gov/sebb-oe.

  • UMP will now cover some preventive care benefits for chronic conditions for UMP High Deductible members prior to members meeting their combined deductible. Coinsurance will apply.

  • Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) will no longer be covered under the medical benefit. Instead CGMs will be covered under the UMP prescription drug benefit. You will need a new prescription if you are currently getting your supplies through your medical benefit. This change does not apply to Medicare retirees when Medicare is primary.

  • Some pharmacies may be added or removed from UMP’s pharmacy network. To check which pharmacies are available in UMP’s 2022 pharmacy network, use the 2022 Pharmacy Locator for UMP Achieve 1, UMP Achieve 2, UMP High Deductible, UMP Plus. If you are a current UMP member and there’s a change that will negatively impact you, Washington State Rx Services (WSRxS) will contact you at least 60 days before with details about what you need to do. Note: The 2022 Pharmacy Locator is only for the 2022 benefit year and is subject to change.

  • For information about 2022 prescription drug costs, please visit the 2022 plan webpage you are interested (UMP Achieve 1, UMP Achieve 2, UMP High Deductible, UMP Plus–PSHVN, UMP Plus–UW-Medicine-ACN).

  • In order to view your previous prescription claims history in 2022, you need to access your prescription claims history by December 31, 2021. Claims histories may be needed for Health Savings Account submissions, Flexible Spending Account submissions, or tax purposes. By viewing your claims history before the new year, you have access to previous claims.
    • You can view your claims by signing in to your Regence account at ump.regence.com/ump/signin.
    • After you sign in, select “My benefits” and choose the “Pharmacy” tab.
    • Then select “Sign in to your pharmacy account” and select “Claims for (your name).”
    • If you have questions, please call WSRxS Customer Service at 1 (888) 361-1611 (TRS: 711).

  • All UMP members will receive a new UMP ID card from Regence for the 2022 plan year. Use your current ID card through December 31, 2021. Your new ID card will not work until January 1, 2022.

  • You use the same card for both medical services and prescription drugs. Show your ID card to all providers you see, including pharmacies, to make sure they have up-to-date billing information for you. You do not use your UMP ID card for dental services. If you haven’t gotten your card yet and need to fill a prescription in 2022, you can use the below information:
