If you or someone you love is struggling with substance misuse, knowing where to go for support isn't always clear. Regence is here to help you get started on the road to recovery. Whether you're looking for virtual or in-person treatment, useful resources or help navigating your benefits, we've got you covered.
You have care options that include medication-assisted treatment. The use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, helps deliver a whole-patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Research shows that this combination can successfully treat substance use disorders, and for some medications, can help sustain recovery. Medications are also used to prevent or reduce opioid overdose. To find a doctor offering this treatment, sign in to your regence.com account. Go to Find care, then Find a provider and select Behavioral health, Filters and Specialty. Then select Medication assisted treatment.
Regence Care Management comes with your health plan and is here for you when you're dealing with health challenges. Our registered nurses, social workers and behavioral health specialists help you navigate the health care system, guide you in making informed decisions and make sure you get the most from your benefits.
If you or a loved one needs help with substance misuse, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has a national helpline that provides free 24-hour treatment referral and information. It's completely confidential and for people facing mental illness and substance abuse, as well as their family members. The helpline provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups and community organizations.
